Since January 2012, Karma has been doing everything in her power to make you and your pets’ visits to the McCordsville Veterinary Hospital as pleasant as possible, whether that be at the reception desk or in the trenches with the doctors. A native of Peru, Indiana, Karma escaped the circus as a teenager, and attended Ball State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Development in 2005, and again in 2008 with a Master of Landscape Architecutre, ABD, degree. Despite all of her academic success, she still felt a void that could only be filled with yet more schooling, and in 2011 she graduated, yet again, with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology. Thankfully for the people of McCordsville, an unforeseen force lured Karma away from academia, and she landed her dream job with us!
Away from the clinic, Karma spends countless hours cleaning up after and tending to the needs of her critters: Maddie is one of the best Doberman Pinschers in the world; and Charlie is a wee little Miniature Pinscher, who is certain that he is a giant. Karma and her husband, Matt enjoy boating and water sports, are both avid readers, and thoroughly enjoy following rigorous exercise protocols. Something must be in the water here at McCordsville as this family expanded too! In June 2014, Matt and Karma had a son, Micah!
